Ukraine-US-Russia Trilateral Meeting Could Take Place Next Month

Ukraine is preparing for a possible trilateral meeting involving Ukraine, the United States and Russia next month, according to a statement by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Office chief.

Speaking to journalist Halyna Ostapovets of Novyny.LIVE during the ceremony for the national “Golden Hands” awards, the official outlined several key issues expected to be addressed.

Among the priorities are efforts to end the war, reducing attacks on energy infrastructure, and improving security for navigation and shipping.

“First of all, we are planning this meeting. Second, the reduction of attacks on the energy sector. Terrorism in general is not something normal. Security, navigation, etc. We have many technical issues to address,” he said.

The comments suggest that energy infrastructure and maritime security could form part of discussions aimed at reducing hostilities and addressing practical issues surrounding a potential settlement.
