VACANCY: MAINTENANCE PLANNER – KITWE Join Our Team We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Maintenance Planner to join our Technical Department. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement in plant reliability through effective maintenance planning, asset care management, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities • Facilitate equipment and process problem-solving initiatives. • Develop, plan, and coordinate scheduled maintenance activities. • Plan and manage plant shutdowns and maintenance projects. • Develop and implement Asset Care Plans to improve equipment reliability. • Analyse maintenance data and generate asset care reports. • Identify maintenance improvement opportunities and failure root causes. • Maintain the integrity of the CMMS/COSWIN maintenance management system. • Monitor maintenance schedules and optimise maintenance activities. • Generate maintenance performance reports. • Collaborate with production teams to ensure efficient operational planning. • Drive continuous improvement and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives. Preferred Requirements • Degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Experience in beverage, brewing, or FMCG manufacturing environments. • Exposure to project planning and shutdown management. • Advanced maintenance planning and reliability improvement expertise. Sound understanding of maintenance systems and methodologies such as: o TPM o RCM o CMMS/COSWIN o Condition Monitoring o RAM • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to influence teams and drive compliance with maintenance standards.
