President Hakainde Hichilema has pledged to work on the Lwampungu and Imusho roads in Sesheke District.

And President Hakainde Hichilema said the Government will modernize the Sesheke One Boarder Stop in order to reach international standards.

While addressing scores of residents in Sesheke district, President Hichilema said the Sesheke-Mwandi -Kazungula road will soon be worked on as the contractor is already on site.

The Head of State also underscored the promise to construct a modern hospital in Maondo Ward.

Meanwhile, the Republican President said he is not happy with the condition of Sesheke Boarding Secondary School hence the need for rehabilitation.

He has since urged the residents in Sesheke District to avoid voting for the independent candidate.

President Hichilema disowned all the independent candidates who are claiming to have been sent by him saying there on their own.

The Head of State attributed this to the fact that violence in the past should not be condoned as people today are moving freely without any intimidation and fear of being beaten by cadres.

“Don’t go back to the past where people have been suffering. It’s going forward,” President Hichilema.

Meanwhile, speaking earlier, Sesheke West Aspiring Candidate, Fredrick Misebezi, has appealed to the residents of Sesheke West to vote for him as area Member of Parliament and vote for Veronica Zambwe, as Council Chairperson.

And Sesheke East Aspiring Candidate, Romeo Kangombe, praised and thanked the residents of Sesheke for the unweaving support.
