BRITAIN’s Duchess of Edinburgh will make an official visit to Zambia from Sept. 14-19, the British High Commission said.

The visit will include stops in Lusaka, Lower Zambezi and Livingstone and will focus on the long-standing ties between Zambia and the United Kingdom. This is according to a press statement issued by Taonga Kaonga, Senior Communications Officer at the British High Commission in Lusaka. “The engagements will cover education, women’s enterprise, health, conservation and culture. The Duchess will meet educators, business and community leaders, health workers, artists and conservationists.” She said. The visit aims to highlight collaboration between the two nations, the statement said.
