The printing of ballot papers for Zambia’s 13 August 2026 General Election has started in Dubai, with presidential ballots scheduled to roll off the presses tomorrow.

A team of stakeholders is on the ground to oversee the process.

The delegation is led by Electoral Commission of Zambia Vice-Chairperson Maj Gen Vincent Mukanda (Rtd).

At Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing Company, the team was taken through the facility by Rajeev Tyagi, Vice-President for Commercial and Business Development. He guided them through the warehouse, printing hall, and binding hall.

The exercise will be done in phases, starting with the presidential ballot.

Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing is a familiar partner for ECZ. The Dubai-based firm also printed Zambia’s ballot papers for the 2016 and 2021 general elections.
