Zambia : Schools Ready For Annual JETS Fair

National Science Centre Assistant Director for Training and Collective Support Anecetus Moonga says more than 600 learners from across the country are expected to participate in this year’s JETS and TEST National Fair to be held in Lusaka.

Mr Moonga says the fair will be held from September 7 to 11, 2026, under the theme “Promoting Innovation and Competence Development in STEM Education.”

 Mr Moonga said the fair will focus on five major categories, namely sustainable systems and environment; health, food and wellbeing systems, digital, robotics and artificial intelligence systems.

He named others as engineering, design and production systems and mathematical modelling and investigations.

Mr Moonga said learners will also participate in various skills categories, including mechanical and civil engineering, cosmetology and other disciplines.

The Assistant Director revealed that the fair is expected to showcase innovations from young people and contribute to improving the lives of Zambians.
