UK Considers Military Support for Saudi Arabia Amid Escalating Ansarallah Attacks Bloomberg

British Prime Minister Andy Burnham is reportedly considering military support for Saudi Arabia as Yemen’s Ansarallah intensifies attacks and expands its presence along Yemen’s Red Sea coast, according to Bloomberg.

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia has reportedly asked the United Kingdom for diplomatic and military assistance, including support against Ansarallah near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait and help protecting critical oil infrastructure.

🇬🇧 The UK has agreed to deploy military advisers to Saudi Arabia, while other requests from Riyadh remain under consideration, according to the report.

The developments come as security concerns increase around the Red Sea, Bab el-Mandeb and Saudi oil facilities.
