Dear Dr. Martin Phiri,

RE: NOTICE OF EXPULSION FROM THE RESOLUTE PARTY

Following e review of your recent conduct and actions, and in my capacity a5 Interim President and Secretary General of the Resolute Party, – hereby notify you of your immediate expulsion from the Resolute Party.

This decision has been reached on the basis that, in the Party’s assessment, you have
fundamentally betrayed the trust and confidence reposed in you by the membership of the Resolute Party and our partners in the PF Pamodzi Alliance.

The Party has concluded that your conduct is inconsistent with the principles of loyalty, integrity, collective responsibility, and fidelity to the resolutions of the Party and the Alliance. In particular, the Party considers your actions to be incompatible with the Resolute Party’s official position within the PF Pamodzi Alliance.

As you are fully aware, the Resolute Party is a constituent member of the PF Pamodzi Alliance and is bound by the Alliance’s collective decision to support the presidential candidature of Brian Mundubile and the vice-presidential candidature of Makebi Zulu, contesting under the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP).

The Party further takes the position that you have acted in a manner that advances the interests of President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND in disregard of the Party’s official position and Alliance commitments.

The Party considers this conduct to have irreparably undermined its confidence in your continued membership.

Your actions amount to gross misconduct, disloyalty to the Party, and conduct prejudicial to the interests, objectives, and unity of both the Resolute Party and the PF Pamodzi Alliance,Accordingly, your membership of the Resolute Party is hereby terminated with immediate effect.

You are directed to cease representing yourself as a member, official, spokesperson, or representative of the Resolute Party in any capacity and to surrender any Party property,
documents, regalia, or other materials in your possession without delay.

The Resolute Party remains steadfast in its commitment to the PF Pamodzi Alliance and reaffirms its unwavering support for the Alliance’s presidential ticket of Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu under the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP).
