PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema and the First Lady, Mutinta Hichilema, received Her Royal Highness Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, at Community House.

President Hichilema said Zambia and the United Kingdom share a warm and longstanding bilateral relationship.

He noted that the Duchess’ focus on education during her visit was particularly welcome as government continues to promote opportunities for Zambian students to learn at home and abroad.

The President said the two countries look forward to continued cooperation in areas including tourism, investment, mining, education, health, and the green economy.
