The Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has granted Archbishop of Lusaka Dr. Alick Banda bail pending trial.

Dr. Banda has been granted bail in his own recognizance of K80,000, with the court requiring three working sureties employed by reputable companies.

Resident Magistrate Mwandu Sakala further ordered each surety to enter into a recognizance of K50,000.
