Iran Says Its Missiles and Drones Are Now “More Advanced and More Powerful”

Iranian Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said on September 26, 2026, that Iran has strengthened its military capabilities since the start of the war and is now better prepared for any renewed confrontation.

“We are much stronger than we were at the beginning of the war and aggression against our country,” Shekarchi said in remarks addressed to the Iranian public.

He claimed that Iran had continued developing its military capabilities rather than losing time, saying its missiles are now significantly more advanced and powerful, while its drones are being produced on a large scale.

Shekarchi also claimed that Iran has gained access to new military technologies that could inflict heavier damage on an adversary in the event of renewed attacks.

“We have always had surprises in every aspect of the war, and we have demonstrated them in action,” he said.
