FORMER LUANSHYA MP STEPHEN CHUNGU URGES PRESIDENT HICHILEMA TO REJECT THIRD-TERM CALLS

FORMER Government Chief Whip Stephen Chungu says President Hakainde Hichilema should come out clean and tell Zambians that he is not for the idea of public calls for the third term in office.

Mr Chungu said President Hichilema even before he was elected republican President he was not for the idea of the third term in office adding that he would be surprised if President Hichilema would accept to go for a third term.

He said it was not necessary to be debating about the third term issue saying that there are so many economic issues that Zambians should be discussing for the development of the nation.

Mr Chungu also said the President should condemn all those preaching hate speech and tribalism.
