Citizens First (CF) party has welcomed the Constitutional Court judgment which ruled that a running mate cannot resign after nomination.

CF Member of the Presidential Media Team Bangwe Naviley Chisenga stated that the court has ruled and the party has therefore welcomed the judgment.

Bangwe, who is also Serenje’s Nkundalila Parliamentary Candidate, said governance activist Isaac Mwanza did the right thing by seeking court interpretation on the matter.

He added that the party is now going to focus much on ballot campaigning to ensure that they sell President Harry Kalaba and everyone who stood on the CF ticket.

Bangwe advanced that President Harry Kalaba will launch his campaign trail on the Copperbelt effective Sunday to share the CF vision with the people who have suffered for a long time.
