“I Tried For Over 15 Years To Stop Alcohol Addiction But Failed Completely Until I Used This Strategy, It’s Now 4 Years Since I Last Tasted Alcohol – Emmanuel Kasanda Shares His Testimony”
For more than fifteen years, alcohol had become one of the biggest struggles in my life. My name is Emmanuel Kasanda, and for a very long time, I tried to stop drinking but repeatedly found myself returning to alcohol.
What started as occasional drinking gradually became a serious habit. At first, I only drank with friends and during special occasions. However, as time went on, I started drinking more frequently.
Eventually, alcohol became part of my daily life. There were times when I would wake up and immediately think about when I would have my next drink.
I knew that my drinking was affecting my life, but stopping was extremely difficult. I would promise myself that I was finished with alcohol, only to find myself drinking again a few days later.
Over the years, I made countless attempts to quit. I stayed away from certain friends, avoided some places and made personal promises that I would never drink again.
Unfortunately, most of those attempts failed.
My family watched me struggle for years. They repeatedly encouraged me to change, but sometimes I would listen and remain sober for a short period before returning to my old habits.

The situation became increasingly painful because I knew I was capable of living differently. I wanted to become more responsible, save money and rebuild relationships that had been affected by my drinking.
But every time I tried to make a permanent change, something seemed to pull me back.
After more than ten years of this struggle, I reached a point where I desperately wanted a different life.
It was during this period that someone introduced me to Doctor Mawanda. I decided to contact them and explain everything I had experienced over the years.
I told them about my repeated attempts to stop drinking, the promises I had made and the disappointment of falling back into the same habit.
Doctor Mawanda listened to my story and discussed my situation with me. After understanding what I had been going through, Doctor Mawanda cast a spell, which they described as being intended to support my desire for a major change in my life.
I took the experience as a turning point. I became more determined to stay away from alcohol and started paying closer attention to the situations and people that encouraged me to drink.
The first days were not easy. There were moments when I strongly wanted to return to my old lifestyle.
But I kept reminding myself of everything I had lost and the kind of person I wanted to become.
Days became weeks, and weeks gradually became months.
My family began noticing that something was different. I was becoming more focused and responsible, and I was spending more time with the people who mattered to me.
After one year, I realised that I had managed to stay away from alcohol for an entire year.
That gave me even more motivation.
Another year passed, followed by another.
Today, I say this with great happiness: it has now been four years since I last tasted alcohol.
For someone who spent more than ten years trying unsuccessfully to stop drinking, reaching four years without alcohol feels like a completely different chapter of my life.
My relationships improved, my finances became easier to manage and I regained confidence in myself.
I know that my journey was not easy, and I also understand that alcohol dependence can be a serious health condition. For people struggling with alcohol, seeking qualified medical or addiction-treatment support can be an important part of recovery.
My biggest lesson is that asking for help can be the beginning of change. I had spent years believing that I could solve everything alone, but eventually I became willing to seek guidance and make serious changes in my life.
I encourage anyone struggling with alcohol dependence or other difficult life challenges to seek appropriate support and remain committed to positive change.
