The company is Zambian wholly owned. The company’s mission is to become a leading and integrated agri-business by optimizing the value chain and supporting the production of high-quality nutritious foods using sustainable and environmentally friendly methods. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a pool of talented individuals that are self-starters’ and experienced to oversee business operations for fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) in various parts of the Country to fill the vacancy. Richmond Farms Limited is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated individuals to fill the following position: 1. CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (1 POSITION) Report to: The Board Chairperson Location: Lusaka Province 1.0 Job Purpose To provide strategic leadership and overall executive management of Richmond Farms Limited by driving sustainable business growth, operational excellence, and profitability across the Bulk Oil, Cold Chain, Dry Goods and Feedstock business units. This role is responsible for developing and executing the Company’s strategic direction, strengthening corporate governance, optimising organisational performance, and creating long-term value for shareholders while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. 2.0 Key Responsibilities Providing visionary leadership and driving the execution of the Company’s strategic plan to achieve sustainable growth and profitability. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and investments to expand the Company’s market share and competitive position. Leading the growth and optimisation of the Cold Chain, Bulk Oil, Dry Goods and Feedstock business units through innovation, operational excellence, and customer-focused solutions. Developing and implementing commercial strategies to increase sales, strengthen distribution networks, and diversify revenue streams. Driving business transformation, innovation, and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and organisational performance. Ensuring sound financial stewardship by delivering sustainable revenue growth, profitability, cost optimisation, and prudent resource management. Strengthening corporate governance, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and internal controls to safeguard the Company’s assets and reputation. Building, leading, and inspiring a high-performing executive team while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and performance excellence. Establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, financial institutions, regulators, investors, and other key stakeholders. Reporting to the Board of Directors on the Company’s strategic, operational, and financial performance, while providing recommendations to support long-term business sustainability and shareholder value. 3.0 Qualifications and Experience Full Grade 12 School Certificate. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Agribusiness, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or an equivalent postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage. A minimum of 10 years’ relevant management experience, with at least 5 years at Executive or Senior Management level, preferably in the FMCG, manufacturing, agribusiness, retail, or distribution sectors. Demonstrated success in driving business growth, operational excellence, financial performance, and organisational transformation. 4.0 Competencies Strategic leadership and commercial acumen. Strong financial and business management skills. Operational and supply chain management expertise. Corporate governance and risk management. Business development and stakeholder engagement. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. High levels of integrity, innovation, and results orientation.
