MEGA Bakery, a leading bakery, restaurant and mini-mart in Kafue, is looking for a competent and experienced Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage monthly and annual financial statements.
Handle payroll preparation and processing.
Prepare and submit ZRA tax returns and other statutory tax obligations.
Manage NHIMA, NAPSA and Workers' Compensation Fund returns.
Ensure timely payment and compliance with statutory obligations.
Maintain accurate accounting records and reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports and assist management with financial analysis.
Monitor income, expenses, cash flow and company accounts.
Ensure compliance with applicable Zambian accounting and tax requirements.


Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Practical experience in accounting and payroll.
Good knowledge of Zambian tax and statutory requirements.
Experience with ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA and Workers' Compensation submissions.
Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
High level of accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
Relevant professional qualification such as ZICA/ACCA will be an added advantage.
