‘Zed Farmer’ in sensational social media come back?

“For how long was she going to stay away from the iPhone camera anyway?”

After months of induced sabbatical from social media, Maria Zaloumis aka Zed Farmer has shared a highly intense jovial short media video with her lover which suggests the celebrity farmer is back where she belongs!

The fervent social media personality was forced to go ‘offline’ after being  being embroiled in the death of a Enoch Simfukwe, a young peasant native who is said to have met his fate after he strayed into her expansive farm of ‘Zed Farmer’ in Kabwe last year.

Ms Zaloumis, her husband Nathaniel Barthram, 34, both of Twin Palma in Lusaka, and Gift Daka, 23, Fortune Mwitangeti, 27, Daniel Chilowa, 40, employees of Tuzini Farms in Kabwe were arrested and accused of causing Simfukwe’s death in Kabwe.

Simfukwe on August 17, 2025 at Kabwe Central Hospital where he was admitted after being allegedly tied and tortured by the accused persons while he was at Tuzini Farms which belongs to Ms Zaloumis.

The Director of Public Prosecutions has charged ‘Zed Farmer’ and her co-accused of manslaughter in the death of Sikazwe.

The ‘Zed Farmer’ last appeared before the Kabwe High Court in January this year.

Her matter has not taken off since as all the judges allocated the matter have been recusing themselves from the matter, citing their familiarity with the Zaloumis family.

‘Zed Farmer is daughter of lectoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) chairperson Mwangala Zaloumis.
