Zambia : Manyinga Set For Major Projects

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says a re-elected UPND Government will upgrade the M8 Road in Manyinga District.

President HICHILEMA says the project is aimed at improving connectivity, boosting trade and expanding access to essential services in Manyinga and surrounding areas.

He has also announced plans to construct a Trades Training Institute, a Nursing School and a District Hospital in the area.

President HICHILEMA says the projects form part of Government’s plan to accelerate development in rural districts and improve people’s livelihoods.

Speaking during a public engagement meeting in Manyinga, President HICHILEMA said the projects will be implemented when the UPND is given another mandate in next week’s General Election.

The President urged voters to support leaders with clear development programmes, saying political parties without manifestos have no solutions to the country’s challenges.

He also called on the electorate to reject politicians whom he accused of seeking public office for personal gain.

Meanwhile, President HICHILEMA announced that Government has employed all volunteer teachers and nurses in Manyinga as part of efforts to strengthen the education and health sectors.
