The Tonse Alliance says its campaign fundraising drive is back on, urging supporters to contribute towards what it describes as the costly task of protecting its votes

Tonse Presidential Affairs Chairperson Binwell Mpundu says the fundraising platform has been restored after recent disruptions, adding that the alliance wants to mobilise resources internally rather than have its presidential candidate, Brian Mundubile, resort to borrowing to finance election operations.

Meanwhile, Mpundu has claimed that three members of Mundubile’s VVIP protection team have gone missing after returning from Russia, where they had undergone security training.

He alleges the men were abducted shortly after arriving at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport from Moscow yesterday. Authorities had not publicly responded to the allegation by the time of this report.
