🇷🇺 UKRAINE CLAIMS RUSSIA HAS SUFFERED MORE THAN 1.5 MILLION MILITARY CASUALTIES
Ukraine says Russia has suffered more than 1.5 million military casualties since the start of the full-scale war, with the Ukrainian General Staff putting the figure at 1,500,870.
According to Ukraine’s military authorities, the reported losses represent the heaviest Russian military casualties in a single conflict since World War II.
Kyiv also claims the figure exceeds the combined Soviet and Russian military losses recorded across conflicts during the second half of the 20th century and is roughly 100 times higher than Soviet losses during the war in Afghanistan.
The figures are Ukrainian estimates and have not been independently verified. Russia does not publish comparable, regularly updated casualty figures, making the true scale of its battlefield losses difficult to establish independently.
