Lusaka High Court Grants ZNBC Staffer, Mcpherson Mukuka Bail

Justice has prevailed.

Counsel Simon Mulenga Mwila Wrote;

Our client, ZNBC journalist MacPherson Chewe Mukuka, has today been ordered by the High Court to be released forthwith after 14 days of unlawful and unconstitutional detention.

The Court has also condemned the State in costs, reaffirming that the unlawful deprivation of liberty has legal consequences.

Today is a reminder that no one should be deprived of their liberty except in accordance with the law. The rule of law has prevailed.
