Police Storm Mundubile’s Media Centre, Pick and Detain Amb. Martha Lungu, and Brian Mundubile’s blogger

..crack down against Mundubile’s campaign team…

Officers from Zambia Police Service stormed the Media Centre at Longacres and picked Amb. Martha Lungu Mwitumwa a former Zambian diplomat who served as Zambia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Swiss Confederation and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva and Vienna.

Amb. Martha has been part of the travelling Tonse-Pamodzi Alliance campaign team and also part of the campaign administrators.

Police also picked Mundubile’s blogger Hannah Isreal Katontoka.

This is besides other bloggers that have been detained.

Police detained Abraham Rooney Kapya and Zubi that have been detained in Mongu.

Police have also detained artists including Moses Ng’andwe (popularly known as Chester), Felix Mangani Phiri (Felix Ndangeni Inshila), and comedian Winston Ngosa (IDC Light Comedy).

Others detained include over 20 security team.

It is understood that the Police were waiting in Livingstone to pick and detain for the entire campaign team.

At the last minute, due to information regarding their security and fears of organised violence  agaibst them Mundubile cancelled the trip.
