The Copper Queens bowed out of the WAFCON in a dramatic fashion that was decided by head-to-head, as the three top teams acquired 6 points each.Bringing an end to the team’s aspiration of attaining a second successive world cup qualification after the Bruce Mwape era.

According to Article 71.2 of the WAFCON guidelines, the three teams were judged according to the number of points obtained.
