Power Dynamos Football Club Coach Osward Mutapa is disappointed with his side’s narrow 1-nil defeat to ZESCO United in a pre-season friendly at Arthur Davies Stadium on the Copperbelt.

In a post match interview, Mutapa, however said that even when conceding late in the match was unfortunate, insists there were several positives to take from the team’s performance.

Mutapa observed that the players gave a good account of themselves and competed well throughout the closely contested encounter.

He said he was particularly pleased with the way the team moved the ball and the decisions made by the players on the pitch.

Mutapa said although the match was a friendly, Power Dynamos went into the game with the mentality of securing victory.

Power Dynamos will now look to bounce back when they face Congolese side AS Simba this afternoon at 15:00 hours at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

And ZESCO United Football Club Striker Kenneth Musonda expressed happiness for scoring his first goal for the club against Zambian Champions Power Dynamos despite coming from the bench

Musonda assured fans of sharpening his skills and scoring more goals in the upcoming Transitional Zambia Premier League season.
