AUTHORITIES in Luwingu District have dissolved all Camp Agriculture Committees following reports of alleged irregularities involving some office bearers.

Luwingu District Commissioner Chomba Chileshe confirmed the development, saying the decision followed disturbing reports concerning the conduct of some committee members.

“We have decided to dissolve all Camp Agriculture Committees to restore transparency and accountability. The decision follows reports of irregularities involving some office bearers, and we want to ensure that farmers are properly served,” he said.

He said new committees would soon be constituted to strengthen service delivery and ensure that agricultural programmes are effectively implemented at camp level.
