Cattle herder sodomizes boy, gives him mbeba to keep quiet

A 10-YEAR-OLD boy of Chadiza District in Eastern Province is nursing a painful anus after a cattle herder sodomized and gave him mice to keep the secret.

Details of the matter as shared with TV Yatu’s #David Kashiki are that, the 10-year-old juvenile had repeatedly been sodomized by the suspect Police identify as, Manzunzo Banda.

Eastern Province Police Commanding Officer Robertson Mweemba shares that, on unknown dates but between July and September, the suspect asked the victim to accompany him to the bush to herd cattle.

While in the bush, it is alleged the suspect asked the victim to play a game with him, after which the juvenile was asked to bend over.

It is further alleged that, after the boy bent over, the suspect covered his mouth, stripped his pants and forcefully penetrated his fecal exit area.

Mweemba shares that, when he was done, the suspect reportedly handed two mice (mbeba) to the victim and asked him to not divulge what had happened.

He says the second time the juvenile was sodomized, was at the suspect’s house, where after the assault, the boy was handed a K2 and asked not to disclose the secret.

The Eastern Province Police Chief further shares that, the victim was allegedly sodomized for the third time, and that this time around, near the prison area, where after the act, he was handed oranges to take home.

When the suspect was done with sodomy, Mweemba says he allegedly turned to having unlawful carnal knowledge of a girlchild under the age of 16.

However, he was apprehended and locked up.

When the sodomized boy learned that Banda had been arrested, he was reportedly happy and went ahead to share his painful experience at the hands of the suspect, with his mother.

Unhappy with her son’s account of abuse, the boy’s 36-year-old mother reported the matter to the Police.

The suspect who is already charged with the offence of defilement is now being slapped with another; of sodomy.
