PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has departed for Abu Dhabi on a two-day working visit at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

President Hichilema said Zambia is determined to deliver the Grow Zambia Agenda through collaboration and partnerships with countries such as the UAE.

He said the focus in Abu Dhabi is to attract investment and promote private sector-led growth by advancing value addition and industrial development.

The President said he looks forward to a productive two days.

The visit, from September 29 to 30, is expected to include an official bilateral meeting, signing of Memoranda of Understanding, the Zambia-UAE Business and Investment Forum, and engagements with UAE business leaders and the Zambian community in the UAE.
