EMMANUEL MWAMBA SEEK TO TURN CATHOLICS AGAINST HICHILEMA.

Former Zambian Ambassador to Ethiopia Emmanuel Mwamba is coordinating efforts aimed at turning sections of the Catholic Church against President Hakainde Hichilema, according to sources familiar with the alleged activities.

Information made available to Zambian Watch News alleges that Mwamba believes the Catholic Church has significant influence over political developments and could play an important role in shaping public opinion ahead of future elections.

A source familiar with the alleged development told Zambian Watch News that Mwamba is coordinating what the source described as a political and propaganda operation intended to undermine President Hichilema.

“Emmanuel Mwamba is coordinating an operation to paralyze President Hakainde Hichilema. He is determined to turn the entire Catholic Church against President Hichilema,” the source alleged.

The source further claimed that Mwamba believes the Catholic Church has historically played an influential role in political affairs in various countries and that turning significant sections of the Church against the President could weaken his political standing.

“He believes that the Catholic Church are kingmakers worldwide. So, if the Catholic Church entirely turns against Hichilema, then it will be easy for him to lose his grip on power in 2031, regardless of who he endorses,” the source alleged.
