A high-level Brazilian delegation representing expertise in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, digital health, clinical research and health innovation has expressed interest in investing in Zambia’s health sector.

Ecosystem Solutions for Health in Africa (ESHA) Chief Executive Officer, Paulo Pan said the delegation was exploring trade and investment opportunities tailored to Zambia’s needs.

Mr Pan noted that Zambia can be an innovation hub in the region for health through mutual partnership with Brazil.

Mr Pan and his delegation will be in Zambia from 28th to 30th September to conduct engagement meetings meant to bear investment results in the health sector.

Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary for Technical Services Kennedy Lishimpi welcomed ESHA’s diverse portfolio in health innovation, pharmaceutical supply chains, biotechnology and digital transformation, noting that it aligns with Zambia’s healthcare priorities.
