Position: Bakery Manager
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Job Type: Full-Time
The Cake Lovers is looking for a skilled, creative, and passionate Bakery Manager to oversee our daily bakery operations, lead our production team, and uphold the highest standards of confectionery craftsmanship.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an industrial or commercial bakery.
Strong skills in cake decoration, artistry, and finishing.
Able to bake a wide range of cakes, pastries, breads, and desserts.
Proven experience in managing, scheduling, and supervising bakery staff.
Sound knowledge of production planning, inventory management, quality control, and food safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily bakery operations and production schedules.
Decorate and produce high-quality, elegant cakes and desserts.
Manage, train, and supervise bakery staff and apprentice bakers.
Ensure consistent quality, aesthetic presentation, and timely delivery of products.
Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards across all workstations.
Support menu development and new product creation.
