Access Bank Zambia and ZESCO United Football Club (FC) have unveiled the 2026/2027 football kit.

Access Bank Zambia Executive Director for Public Sector and Commercial Banking Helen Lunda, who read remarks on behalf of Managing Director, Iheanyi Nwogu, said the partnership was intended to go beyond branding and create value for the club.

Speaking during the unveiling, Dr Nwogu said the support to the ZESCO United FC is meant to help equip the team to compete and create value for the Club, its players and supporters.

And Dr Nwogu challenged the club to regain its position among the best teams in Zambian football, saying the team’s past achievements should serve as motivation to pursue further success.

Meanwhile, ZESCO United Board Chairperson Patricia Musiya said the partnership represents more than the sponsorship of the club’s football kit, as it symbolises shared belief in the power of sport to create opportunities and positively impact communities.

Ms Musiya said the support from Access Bank has enabled the club to plan with greater confidence, improve its operations and strengthen engagement with supporters.

“We want to work with Access Bank not only to achieve success on the football pitch, but also to create a lasting impact away from it,” she said.

Ms Musiye said ZESCO United is committed to building a long-term relationship with Access Bank while pursuing success on the pitch and contributing to the development of football in Zambia.
