Mission of the role: Aligned with the East and Central Africa (ECA) regional strategy, your mission as Regional Business Line Manager is to lead the Parts and Services Division across assigned markets. You will translate strategic priorities into profitable growth, ensure reliable service delivery, and foster sustained customer value. Your Mission: Business Growth and Strategy Translate the ECA PSD strategy into actionable priorities, growth plans, and execution roadmaps tailored to market demands. Lead comprehensive business planning by channel and region, balancing market opportunities with operational capacities to optimize resources. Identify and convert opportunities in parts, services, rebuilds, service agreements, upgrades, and productivity solutions to drive sustainable revenue growth. Expand and strengthen direct and indirect market coverage within mining, contractor, and emerging sectors. Customer and Market Development Establish and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with key customers, mining houses, contractors, partners, and critical decision-makers. Effectively promote Epiroc’s value propositions and reinforce customer confidence in our Parts and Services Division solutions. Leverage customer feedback and operational insights to continuously improve service experience, increase retention, and enhance account performance. Support sales teams through tenders, contract negotiations, campaign planning, territory management, CRM discipline, and accurate forecasting. Service Excellence and Operational Performance Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable Parts and Services Division service delivery, covering field services, workshops, rebuilds, agreements, and technical support. Oversee corrective and preventive maintenance contracts with a focus on safety, reliability, technical excellence, and consistent service quality. Secure critical and high-frequency parts and services to maintain equipment uptime, asset availability, and operational continuity. Champion continuous improvement initiatives in productivity, backlog management, preventive maintenance, co-planning, service administration, and adherence to deadlines. Manage warranty processes to guarantee responsive, compliant, and high-quality after-sales support. Financial and Business Performance Drive financial performance of the Parts and Services Division, overseeing revenue, gross profit, cost control, working capital, and margins. Prepare, monitor, and analyze budgets, forecasts, and business reviews, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Track and report key metrics including orders, sales, inventory levels, receivables, backlog, service productivity, and profitability. Implement corrective actions promptly when required and maintain reliable and timely reporting consistent with company standards. Team Leadership and Capability Development Lead, coach, and develop multidisciplinary technical and commercial teams to achieve safe, accountable, and customer-focused execution of objectives. Conduct constructive feedback, performance appraisals, and development discussions aimed at strengthening individual and team capabilities. Invest in building local competence through targeted training, knowledge sharing, succession planning, career development, employee engagement, and fostering an inclusive environment. Safety, Compliance, and Responsible Business Serve as a champion for safety-first leadership practices, ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards, legal requirements, customer expectations, trade regulations, and company policies. Manage operational, contractual, logistical, country-specific, and site-specific risks with proactive and timely corrective actions. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, reports, agreements, service documentation, and compliance evidence to support transparency and accountability. Cross-functional Alignment and Collaboration Coordinate closely with Equipment, Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Care, and other relevant functions to align priorities and optimize operational efficiency. Facilitate clear communication, shared planning, and timely escalation mechanisms across divisions, countries, and support teams. Promote technical and commercial collaboration to enhance productivity, supply chain effectiveness, service delivery quality, and overall business outcomes. Your Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Commercial Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of eight years of experience in aftermarket sales, service operations, or business/technical management, preferably within mining, heavy equipment, or industrial services. Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-country operations and teams. In-depth knowledge of parts, service, maintenance, rebuilds, service agreements, and aftermarket business models. Strong commercial and financial acumen, proficient in budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and reporting. Skilled negotiator with proven ability in stakeholder management, customer relationship building, and market development. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with customers, teams, functions, and diverse cultures. Self-driven, proactive, and capable of independent work while maintaining ownership of priorities and results. Proficient in leveraging digital tools, data analytics, and AI responsibly to enhance decision-making and productivity.
