As a Public Health and Wellness Officer, you will be integral to fostering a culture of health and wellbeing by supporting wellness outreach programs designed to improve both physical and mental health among employees. Key Responsibilities in Public Health and Wellness Officer Jobs in Kalumbila Assist the Wellness Coordinator in designing and implementing engaging wellness programs and health education activities. Promote health and wellness initiatives through outreach efforts, motivating employee participation. Conduct wellness programs, health screenings, and educational sessions under the guidance of specialists. Utilize diverse communication channels such as toolbox talks, lunch & learns, newsletters, and social media to advance wellness and fitness objectives. Develop and distribute informational, educational, and communication (IEC) materials and marketing content related to wellness services. Track and report on participation and outcomes of wellness programs while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records. Stay informed about trends in both mining and health sectors to tailor effective wellness strategies. Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Candidate Profile and Qualifications Minimum Grade 12 Certificate; a degree in health promotion, public health, wellness, or related field is advantageous. At least 3 years of relevant work experience in health or wellness program delivery. Proficient in MS Office and content management systems. Excellent communication skills with a creative and motivating approach. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with people. Valid Driver’s License. Qualifications validated by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA).
