JOB VACANCY: HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER Job Title: Human Resources Manager Job Location: Ndola, Zambia Company Name: Gramus Job Description Gramus is seeking an experienced and dependable Human Resources Manager to oversee its human-resource operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, performance management, staff development, policy implementation and compliance with Zambian labour laws. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures. Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and employee-exit processes. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records. Coordinate performance appraisals and employee-development programmes. Handle disciplinary matters, grievances and workplace disputes professionally. Monitor employee attendance, leave and general workplace conduct. Support payroll administration by providing accurate employee information. Ensure compliance with Zambian employment laws and company policies. Advise management on staffing requirements and other HR matters. Promote a positive, productive and professional workplace culture. Prepare regular HR reports for senior management. Qualifications and Experience Required Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or a related discipline. At least five years of relevant HR experience Sound knowledge of Zambian labour laws and employment regulations. Experience in recruitment, performance management and employee relations. Strong leadership and people-management abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving abilities. High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality. Good organisational and time-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems. Membership in a relevant professional HR body will be an added advantage.
