Vacant Position: General Assistant – Workshop
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to the health and safety rules and protocols as prescribed.
Cleaning of workshop area, warehouse floors, equipment and keeping area tidy.
Maintenance: performing routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Record keeping: maintain records of inventory and work performed.
Communication with supervisors and other team members.
Reporting: report on any deviation noted.
Housekeeping: maintain proper housekeeping of the area.
Able to work shifts and/or overtime.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Required:
Grade 12 or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Experience in open cast mining/workshop will be an added advantage.
Valid driver's license (Code 10).
Knowledge of MHSA work regulations.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Pass the medical fitness test.
