# JOB VACANCY: FIELD TECHNICIAN (AUTO ELECTRICIAN) Location: Kitwe, Zambia Company: IO Technologies Limited IO Technologies Limited is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Technician (Auto Electrician) to join our growing technical team based in Kitwe ## Key Responsibilities * Install, configure, and commission GPS tracking devices on various vehicle types. * Install, calibrate, and maintain fuel monitoring systems and fuel level sensors. * Install and configure AI dash cams and other IoT devices. * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults on installed tracking and monitoring equipment. * Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on installed devices. * Perform field visits to client sites for installations, maintenance, and technical support. * Test equipment to ensure proper functionality before handover. * Complete installation and service reports accurately and on time. * Provide professional technical support while maintaining excellent customer relations. * Adhere to company safety procedures and technical standards. ## Minimum Qualifications * Certificate, Diploma, or Trade Qualification in Auto Electrical, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, ICT, or a related technical field. * Proven experience as an Auto Electrician or Field Technician will be an added advantage. * Sound knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring diagrams. * Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults efficiently. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Willingness to travel within Zambia when required. ## Added Advantages Candidates with practical experience in any of the following areas will have a distinct advantage: * GPS Tracking Systems * Fuel Monitoring Systems * AI Dash Cameras * Networking (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, wireless devices) * CCTV and Outdoor Camera Installations * Access Control and Door Security Systems * Solar Power System Installations and Maintenance * General IoT Device Installation and Configuration ## What We Are Looking For We are looking for a proactive, dependable, and technically competent individual who is passionate about technology and enjoys working in the field.
