JOB OPPORTUNITIES Mulonga Water Supply and Sanitation Company Ltd is a dynamic and vibrant Company providing water and sanitation services in the Municipalities of Chingola, Mufulira and Chililabombwe. Applications are now invited from suitably qualified candidates to join the team in the positions below: ASSISTANT ENGINEER X1 Purpose of the Job Reporting to the Implementation Engineer – Civil, the job holder is responsible for supervising construction programs for both in-house and contracted works. These will include water networks, water treatment works and Sewer networks. Main accountabilities Ensure Contractor has regularly approved program of works including all critical working drawings, constantly monitoring project cost, quality and time. Check that contractor has adequate levels of deployment of staff, plant and equipment on site for speedy implementation of the works and report to Superiors all eventualities that require action. Inspect/check adherence to contract provisions by contractors and consultants. Submit monthly progress update complete with labour, plant and equipment returns for in-house supervised works. Prepare detailed measurement sheets for quantities done on site to be used for payments. Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site. Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction engineering Minimum 3 Years post qualification experience in a similar role Member EIZ Experience in Water and sanitation infrastructure planning design and implementation Experience in project supervision and contract management Knowledge in engineering drawings and technical specifications Knowledge in GIS and engineering software Ability to drive a manual motor vehicle Job Application Procedure: If you have the necessary competences/qualifications we are looking for, please submit your application together with a comprehensive C.V. as one document including your contact telephone number and copies of your certificates and names of three referees to careers@mwsc.com.zm not later than Friday, 30th August 2026.
