Zambia : Tanzania, Eswatini Dignitaries Leave Zambia

Tanzanian President Samia Hassan has left the country after witnessing the inauguration ceremony of President Hakainde Hichilema.

President Hassan was accorded a half-guard of honour, one of the highest military honours accorded to a visiting Head of State.

She was accompanied by Tanzanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ngwapu Maghembe.

Meanwhile, Eswatini Deputy Prime Minister Tulusile Dladla has also left Zambia for her home country.

President Hassan and Ms Dladla were seen off at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport by Deputy Secretary to Cabinet Oliver Kalabo, Lusaka Province Permanent Secretary Joe Kalusa, Defence Attachés accredited to Zambia and other senior government officials.

Ms Dladla departed Zambia at 16:12 hours while Ms Samia left at 16:27 hours.
