President Boko, who was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs Phenyo Butale and other senior government officials, left Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 16:50 hours.
He was seen off at the airport by Deputy Secretary to Cabinet Oliver Kalabo, Lusaka Province Permanent Secretary Joe Kalusa, Zimbabwean Ambassador to Zambia Charity Chiramba, Defence Attachés accredited to Zambia and other senior government officials.
Meanwhile, President of Kenya William Ruto has also left the country.
The presidential plane carrying Mr Ruto left the country at 17:05 hours.
The two Heads of State are among other international dignitaries who attended President Hakainde Hichilema’s inauguration ceremony at the National Heroes stadium in Lusaka following his victory in the August 13 general elections.
