Zambia : King Felipe Toasts HH Victory

King Felipe VI of Spain has congratulated President Hakainde Hichilema on his re-election as President of the Republic of Zambia.

 King Felipe VI in his congratulatory message wished Zambia continued growth, stability and prosperity in the years ahead.

He expressed hope that the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Zambia and Spain will continue to grow stronger.

The Spanish monarch also said that the two countries should continue building on their existing relations for the mutual benefit of their people.

The message follows President Hichilema’s re-election to serve the country for the second term, in the August 13, 2026, general elections.
