President Hakainde Hichilema has pledged continued infrastructure development and job creation in Mazabuka District if re-elected in the August general election.

Addressing supporters during a campaign meeting in Mazabuka, President Hichilema said his government plans to construct a General Hospital, improve the district’s road network, facilitate the payment of outstanding benefits for Zambia Sugar pensioners, and create more employment opportunities.

He urged residents not to be misled by what he described as false information from political opponents, stating that his administration remains focused on delivering development for all Zambians.

The President said significant progress had already been made across the country but noted that more work remained to be done. He added that his campaign tours across Zambia’s nine provinces had reinforced his belief that the country was moving forward.

President Hichilema concluded by calling on voters to support him and the UPND in the August elections, saying continued development depends on sustained public support.
