Chipata City Council Football Club has bolstered its squad with five new signings ahead of the 2026/27 football season.

The new arrivals are strikers Healings Sinyinza and Morgan Botha, both from Airport Warriors, defender Paul Kapendo from Shooting Stars, midfielder Felix Phiri, popularly known as Neymar, from Mika FC, and right-back Emmanuel Mwila Malata from Immig FC in Central Province.

Chipata City Council FC Media officer, Taonga Mofya said the new players are expected to add depth and competition to the squad.

“The new additions will add depth, competition and fresh energy to the squad as we prepare for the challenges of the new season,” she said.

Mofya said the club was confident that the five players would make a meaningful contribution to the team’s objectives during the 2026/27 season.

She said Sinyinza and Botha are expected to strengthen the club’s attacking options, while Kapendo will provide additional strength and experience in defence.

The Club Media officer said Phiri will add another option in midfield, with Malata strengthening the right-back position.

Mofya welcomed the five players to the Chipata City Council FC family and wished them success as they begin their new chapter with the club.
