TI-Z’S FINAL INCIDENT WEIGHTED INTEGRITY INDEX ON 221/226 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION RESULTS
Transparency International Zambia has assessed all the 221 constituency presidential election results announced by the Electoral Commission of Zambia.
Our assessment generated a 61.73% Integrity Index due to observed disparities and process incidents related to the counting of results at polling stations and totalling centres in 32 constituencies across the country.
Although there was only overall 1.1% difference in tabulations between the results announced by ECZ and those collected by TI-Z monitors, our analysis has flagged 32 out of the 221 constituencies assessed due to unsealed ballot papers delivered to the totalling centres, failure or delays to issue Gen 20 forms, miscalculations of candidates votes, failure to announce presidential results at totalling centres, and sending of Gen 20 forms to Lusaka before announcing results at totalling centres, among others.
The following is the list of the 32 flagged constituencies:
* Bwacha North
* Bwacha South
* Bwana Mkubwa
* Chadiza East
* Chembe
