President Hakainde Hichilema is tomorrow, 18th July 2026, expected to arrive in Luapula Province for a two-day working visit.

Luapula Province Permanent Secretary, Prudence Chinama, has confirmed the President’s expected visit to the region.

Ms Chinama said the President will hold community engagements in Chienge, Nchelenge, Kawambwa, Mwense, Chifunabuli, Samfya, Lunga and Mansa districts while during his visit.

She added that the President’s visit to Lunga district will be the first time a sitting Head of State will visit the district.

Ms Chinama said this demonstrates the New Dawn administration’s dedication to inclusive development and ensuring that every part of the country benefits from government programmes and opportunities.
