Kabwe Municipal Council has scored another milestone in community service delivery after procuring a 51-tonne Tipper Truck at a total cost of K2,000,069.00 under the 2025 Constituency Development Fund – CDF allocation.

The brand new Tipper Truck for Kabwe Central Constituency was delivered this week by the supplier, Metal Lake Mining, Construction and Logistics Limited.

Council officials say the equipment will enhance CDF feeder road rehabilitation works through the ferrying of gravel and compaction of roads in the district.

CDF continues to make a significant impact in communities through the quality delivery of projects such as clinics, classroom blocks, desks, boreholes, modern water reticulation systems, police posts, loans, grants, skills development, boarding and secondary school bursaries, and CDF feeder road rehabilitation.

From 2022 to 2026, hundreds of youths, women and pupils have benefited from grants, loans and bursaries to sustain their livelihoods.

Kabwe District has, since 2022 to 2025, procured a total of eight earth-moving equipment, and one Skip Truck for garbage collection.

Bwacha Constituency now has a total of five earth-moving equipment which include: a Grader, Tipper Truck, Roller Compactor, Front End Loader, and a Water Bowser Truck procured under CDF 2022 to 2025. It now only remains with an Excavator to complete the set.

Kabwe Central Constituency has procured three earth-moving equipment: a Grader, Tipper Truck, and Roller Compactor, and also a Skip Truck for garbage collection under the CDF 2022 to 2025 allocations.

The delivery of the new tipper truck is expected to accelerate road maintenance and improve access to schools, clinics and markets in Kabwe Central.
