Co-Presidents of the Republic of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Rosario Murillo, have congratulated President Hakainde Hichilema on his re-election as President of Zambia.

The Nicaraguan leaders have said that President Hichilema’s re-election reaffirms the confidence that the Zambian people have in President Hichilema’s leadership and guidance of the country.

They have since extended their congratulations to President Hichilema, following his successful re-election and expressed recognition of the mandate given to him by the Zambian people.
