GOVERNMENT has officially handed over two newly constructed 1 by 3 classroom blocks to the Mpungu community in Zambezi West Constituency, Zambezi District, North-Western Province.

The two infrastructure projects were constructed at a total cost of over K1.8 million using the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) allocation to improve learning conditions and expand access to quality education in the area.

Zambezi West Member of Parliament, Vumango Musumali reaffirmed the government’s commitment to developing underserved rural areas and bringing essential public services closer to the people.

Mr Musumali highlighted that the continued utilisation of CDF funds demonstrates the government’s dedication to decentralisation and direct community empowerment.

Zambezi District Commissioner, Simeon Machayi further said President Hakainde Hichilema has demonstrated good leadership and called on residents to maintain their support for him and his administration’s development agenda.
