PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has assured residents of Mwandi that the district will continue to receive “a fair share of the National cake” and urged them to vote for the UPND in the Aug. 13, 2026 general elections.

The Head of State said the government plans more roads, access to safe and clean drinking water, additional health facilities and schools, jobs, business opportunities and skills training centres for the district. “This is why today we called on our people in this land to vote for us in this election,” he said. “Sichaba sa Mwandi. Go and vote for us in thousands so that together we can continue protecting the gains made this far,” Hichilema said. Advertisement Advertise here Reach readers inside premium article pages.
