Hichilema campaigns in Chawama, Kabwata, urges vote for Thursday election

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema on Tuesday thanked residents of Chawama and Kabwata in Lusaka Province for attending a campaign meeting "in their thousands" and urged them to vote in Thursday’s general election. "Go and vote for us this Thursday," Hichilema said. "We will continue delivering free education, business opportunities, increased CDF, cash for work, among others."

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema on Tuesday thanked residents of Chawama and Kabwata in Lusaka Province for attending a campaign meeting “in their thousands” and urged them to vote in Thursday’s general election.

“Go and vote for us this Thursday,” Hichilema said. “We will continue delivering free education, business opportunities, increased CDF, cash for work, among others.”

He said the government is determined to continue working to lower the cost of living, improve drainage to deal with flooding, create more jobs and build more health facilities.

Hichilema credited his administration with restructuring the country’s debt and restoring economic growth.

“The energy challenges have been receiving attention head-on by coming up with the energy mix of solar and coal is in motion,” he said.
