President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is expected to cast his vote at Kabulonga Boys Secondary School polling station in Lusaka.
President HICHILEMA, who will be accompanied by his family, is scheduled to vote at 12 hours.
State House Chief Communications Specialist CLAYSON HAMASAKA says the Head of State is being kept abreast of developments in the electoral process across the country.
Mr. HAMASAKA says President HICHILEMA has encouraged citizens, particularly young people and women, to turn out in large numbers and exercise their democratic right to vote.
President HICHILEMA has also called on citizens to remain calm, patient and cooperate with election officials throughout the voting process.
He has reiterated his call for peace, tolerance and respect for the electoral process, urging citizens to uphold unity before, during and after the elections.
